Something wonderful happened at yesterday’s engagement session… the SUN came out! If you live in Michigan you know the weather has been dreary lately, which makes the sun’s appearance for this engagement session completely miraculous.

Yesterday’s shoot was at another one of my favorite locations, The Pelizzari Trail on Old Mission Peninsula. Whether it’s summer and full of greenery, fall and shining colorfully with bright leaves, or winter with fresh snow on the ground, it is such a beautiful location!

Kelsey and Brandon’s Love Story

Kelsey and Brandon met in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. After college, Kelsey and Brandon moved downstate. They found me through a mutual friend whose Christmas Mini pictures I took and booked me for their engagement session and wedding in October 2024 at Frederik Mejier Gardens.

Kelsey and Brandon drove up to Traverse City to have a mini-vacation and decided to have their engagement session while they were visitng. On their trip to Traverse City, they went skiing, browsed downtown Traverse City, went to the Grand Traverse Distillery, and had a ton of fun at their photoshoot! Sounds like a wonderful mini vaca to me!

The Day of the Session

The minute I met Kelsey and Brandon I felt like we had been friends for a long time. They are so sweet and full of giggles! Their engagement session was so much fun and the hour went by way too quickly. I am so thankful for more amazing clients like them and I can’t wait to capture their wedding day in 2024!
