I believe that God has a purpose for all of us, and I’m blessed to have found mine through photography. I love capturing special moments in my clients’ lives and creating genuine, happy memories with every session.
Sophie and Gary’s summer wedding can be summed up into three words – intimate, beachy, and fun. They didn’t want portraits to be a large part of the day, but instead, wanted to spend genuine time with their loved ones on their special day while I captured details and candid moments.
Sophie and Gary invited forty of their favorite people to celebrate their day with them. And a celebration it was!
Gary danced down the aisle to “Poor Some Sugar On Me” right before Sophie strutted down the aisle to “Anti-Hero.” Before the ceremony, Sophie looked at me and said, “What’s the song that says ‘I’m the problem it’s me?’ That would be so funny if I walked down the aisle to that.” and so she did! Making the decision right in the moment.
Like I tell all my couples, it’s YOUR day. You can literally do whatever the hey you want. All the laughs and dancing were the perfect start to the short and sweet ceremony, officiated by a close friend of theirs. The rest of the evening was filled with conversations, delicious food and drinks, more dancing and laughs, and beautiful sunset.
Gary and Sophie chose to stay in beautiful Bay Harbor for a few more days after their wedding to spend more time with their family and friends before they headed back home to Indiana. Congratulations Gary and Sophie! <3
